S Robinson, River Valley School

We booked Lady Buggy for two junior kindergarten classes at our school to enrich our bug
inquiry unit. The Bug Basics program was perfect for our age group and included instructional
time, sensory digging through an actual soil habitat looking for living bugs, puzzles, games,
colouring and hands-on time with some big, beautiful bugs!
Georgia’s Bug Basics program ran smoothly with the help of a few volunteers that supported the
small group bug sensory and activity centres while Georgia introduced the most amazing,
child-friendly big bugs ever at her hands-on centre.
Georgia, aka Lady Buggy, was an incredible bug educator and easily drew the children in with
her engaging and interactive presentation. She made us all feel at ease and gave us confidence
to touch and even hold bugs that we thought we were afraid of! Georgia opened our eyes, our
minds and our hearts to some very amazing creatures.
We loved our time with Lady Buggy and can’t wait to have her and her creepy, crawly crew back
